Adoption

Adoption policy applies to: adoption; fostering with the possibility of future adoption; and also having a child via a surrogate.  If you are adopting a child as an individual, or with another person, know where you stand with regard to taking time off for appointments, informing the right people and getting paid.

Some entitlements will depend on you having worked for a company or employer for a certain amount of time.  All adoptions must be via a UK based adoption agency.
